Well anglers, Lake Lanier Fishing remains hot!! Great week – fish were on! Caught some short fish on a jerkbait this week, as well as some shaky head fish back in the pockets. The real action this week for me came on the main-lake with a FHS and a crankbait – caught some good fish – biggest was right at 5 pounds – check out the pics!! Still working shallow/slow-tapering rock/clay points with the FHS – slow rolling seems to work best for me – same with the crank – slow.
My partner Rich and I were at the BFL weigh-in today (Saturday) at Laurel Park and filmed the event. Look for the video to be posted on our site later this week. We had some great specials on our products – some of you guys missed out! You will always get your best buy at our weigh-ins and shows – look for our tent and come say hello next time! Remember, you can always purchase our videos of fishing holes online and make sure to use the JIMBO code when you purchase from our website, and receive a 5% discount on everything you buy!
With the spawn in progress, the topwater action on Lake Lanier is right around the corner – those spotted bass will be chewing on topwater soon! Our videos and GPS Waypoints show some great timber, brush piles, and humps. Now is the time to purchase this information and get ready for the big top-water bite – you don’t want to miss this action! Your best buy is to purchase a section of the lake, or a creek – the price per clip goes as low $3 each – compared to $11.95 for individual clips. Pick a creek you want to fish, purchase the information (including an SD Card with the Waypoints for all packages) and go catch them! Good purchases right now would be our Main Lake North and Main Lake South packages – you will find these productive through post-spawn and into the summer. Also, our clips from the mouths of creeks all over the lake can really help as well – use our new and improved clip index tool to pick out the best clips! This Lake Lanier Fishin Report is brought to you by LanierMAPPED.com!
Until next time – tight lines everybody!
