Rates & Trip Check-List
Included in the rates below: use of my tackle and lures (you are welcome to bring your own), life vests, as well as water and soft drinks for the day. I will always have sunscreen on the boat as well. A Georgia Fishing License is required for all participants, which requires a simple on-line purchase at the DNR Website and only costs about $11 to include online service fees – those going on a trip will need to purchase a license in advance. If rain is forecasted for the day of the trip, plan to bring your own rain-gear. Keep in mind that fishing is sometimes the best during inclement weather (rain). The guide trip will be paused during thunderstorms and will resume once the storm has passed to ensure safety. We will fish with artificial baits utilizing baitcasting and spincasting tackle. If you would like to fish with Live Bait, additional charges will apply.

Trip Check List:
Please plan on bringing any food or special drinks you would like for the day with you. I will have water and ice on the boat, and I have 2 coolers for storage. I also will have life preservers on the boat. Please let me know if you require any special sizes for the life vests. Feel free to bring your own equipment if you like, but you are also welcome to use mine as well. Please understand that fishing is an outdoor activity. If inclement weather is in the forecast, please make sure to bring appropriate attire (Ex – Rain Suit). Your trip will run on the day scheduled regardless of weather conditions, unless weather conditions are dangerous (lightening, tornado, blizzard, etc.) If dangerous weather arises during the trip, the trip will be paused and safe shelter will be sought. After the danger has passed, the trip will resume. Cancellations of trips due to non-dangerous weather conditions will result in forfeited deposit and/or any prepayments.
Please understand that broken equipment or lost lures will cost extra beyond the fare cost. I request a $100 deposit in advance for all trips booked at the time of booking. Once the deposit or full pre-payment has been made, no refunds will be issued. Cancellation of the trip will result in forfeited deposit or prepayment. Deposits not received within 7 Days of booking trip will result in the scheduled date being released for sale. Finally, please understand that we exclusively practice catch and release.
All persons over the age of 16 are required to have a valid Fishing License. Please make sure you have a valid GA Fishing License. If not, you may purchase one at Hammonds that morning, or in advance at the GA DNR website. Also, life vest laws in Georgia with regard to children have recently changed. ALL children 13 years of age or younger must wear a life vest the ENTIRE time they are on the boat. Please make note of this important law and if your child requires a special size vest or owns his/her own vest, please make the proper arrangements in advance or bring a vest with you the day of the trip.

“Jimbo helped Cody Meyer finish second in the 2010 FLW Cup at Lake Lanier, Georgia – he won $100,000! Jimbo Guided Cody during the pre-practice period for the FLW Cup on Lanier. Cody took the information and performed well. Cody is a super guy and a great angler”
Cody Meyer and Jimbo
“I came down from Kentucky to fish with Jimbo on Lanier on a two-day trip. I wanted to catch some of Lanier’s famous spotted bass, and out of all the guides available, I chose Jimbo. He was a great host and it soon felt like we had known each other for years. Jimbo worked hard to put me on fish, including this 5 lbs, 3 oz magnum spot pictured above! It was a treat to fish with Jimbo and I will be back again soon. I would happily recommend Jimbo to anyone – he is a true professional.”
